녹음의 집은 식물과 사람이 공존하는 투명한 집이다. 보통 온실이 식물만을 위한 시설이라면 녹음의 집은 식물과 사람이 함께할 수 있는 장소로 단판 유리가 아닌 복층유리로 마감되었다. 주변의 산의 형상을 닮은 프레임은 히든바 형식으로 시각적인 노출이 최소화 되어 유리 건물의 투명성을 강조한다. 그 투명성으로 인해 봄, 여름, 가을에는 주변 풍경과 어우러지고, 반대로 눈으로 덮힌 겨울에는 녹색의 섬과 같은 풍경을 만든다. 이곳에서 사람과 식물은 시간과 공간으로부터 자유로워지는 경험을 공유한다.

주변 땅의 흐름을 닮은 유리지붕은 비대칭의 박공으로 이루어진다. 일조시간이 짧은 대지 조건을 고려해 비대칭 유리지붕의 넒은 면이 정남향을 향하여 최대의 일조량을 확보한다. 빛의 유입과 함께 공기와 물의 순환은 개념적이며 실질적인 자연과의 관계를 만든다. 지열의 유입을 위해 지표면으로부터 1m 하부에 묻힌 바닥레벨은 환기를 위한 상부 천창과 함께 공기와 열의 순환을 형성한다. 또한 지붕으로부터 물을 모으는 빗물 저수조와 이를 활용한 비오톱은 또 다른 자연의 순환 과정이다.

The House of Green is a transparent house in which plants and human beings coexist Transparency indicates the penetrability of its boundaries. These delicate dividing lines between architecture and nature, inside and outside, space and scenery - create a flexible microclimate on the inside characterized by a visual lightness. Various synesthesia, based on the changes in solar radiation, temperature, precipitation, and humidity, accent this place, a House of Green with light skin layers. Here, people and plants share an experience freed from time and space.

The glass roof, which resembles the flow of the surrounding land, is made from asymmetric gables. Considering the site conditions of short daylight hours, the broad surface of the asymmetric glass roof faces the south direct ion in order to obtain the maximum amount of sunlight.
